To guarantee your place on our intensive courses, you must :
- Pre-register by the deadline
- Register by the deadline
- Attend classes from the beginning of the course
No places will be reserved after the registration deadline.
Registration conditions:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Not having French as mother language or school language
Registration in the intensive courses is limited to 4 semesters (2 academic years).
In case of unjustified absences to more than a quarter of the classes in a semester, re-enrolment will not be allowed.
How to pre-register to the intensive course in DéFLE-Lorraine ?
1) Complete the pre-registration form on your computer and save it in PDF-format
2) Scan your ID (passport, residence permit…) and your latest diploma (translated in French) and save it in PDF-format
3) Pay a deposit of 300€ by debit card on the university website: https://demarches.univ-lorraine.fr/ (click on « Pré-inscription aux cours de français langue étrangère du DéFLE-Lorraine »). If you want to pay with another method, please contact us via defle-contact@univ-lorraine.fr.
4) Send all the documents in the same e-mail to the address defle-contact@univ-lorraine.fr:
- The registration file completed
- The ID and the diploma
- The proof of payment
5) You will receive a pre-registration certificate by e-mail within two working days after you sent your documents and your payment.
This procedure does not apply to you if you have submitted an admissible application for exemption from registration fees.

Cancellation and refund
The specific fees payed to the DéFLE-Lorraine cannot be refunded or postponed, unless the student can justify of a case of force majeure with a documentary proof (visa refusal, medical certificate of serious health condition or injury, illness- or death certificate of a relative). Professional imperatives shall not be treated as force majeure circumstances. Administration fees will be deducted.
The cancellation must be submitted no later than one month after departure, to lansad-secretariat-contact@univ-lorraine.fr
The refund will be issued by bank transfer to the payer's account within 3 months after the request.
